Hardware
Plug in, scan, print.
Uzaa runs in a web browser, so there is nothing to install. A handheld scanner types the barcode for you. A thermal printer prints the receipt. If you already own a laptop, a printer or a scanner, we will check them with you at the demo.

Questions
What shop owners ask first.
Do I need internet to sell?
Yes. Uzaa runs online, so the till needs a connection. A phone hotspot works if your shop wifi drops.
Can I use my own printer or scanner?
Most thermal receipt printers and handheld scanners work. Bring the model name to the demo and we will confirm it before you buy anything.
Can I run more than one branch?
Yes. Each branch has its own stock, its own cashiers and its own receipts. You see every branch together in your reports.
What can a cashier see?
Only the Sell screen and their own sales, in their own branch. They cannot change prices, stock, staff or settings.
How do customers pay?
On Uzaa Standard, your cashier records Cash, M-Pesa or Card at the till. On Uzaa Pay, customers can scan a QR code to pay.
How is billing done?
Every three months, at the plan price. Hardware is billed once, separately.
